Dean Da Costa (SSAR) has a new souring sight that is awesome

Dean Da Costa (SSAR) has launched an incredible new sourcing site called The Sourcing Links! Many of you may already know about his long-established resource at https://start.me/p/GE7Ebm/ssar, which he has been enhancing for years. The Sourcing Links offers a fantastic Bronze plan that is completely free and packed with essential tools all in one place—think X-ray search, Boolean search, CSS, email/phone lookup, email verification, and much more.

Check out his YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@DeanDaCostathesearchauthority, where you’ll find plenty of videos explaining how to make the most of these features.

I had the opportunity to join a Google Meet with Dean and others today, during which he demonstrated the site. I was truly impressed! Even as someone who primarily uses LinkedIn Sales Navigator and SalesQL without much expertise in X-ray or Boolean searches, I’m excited to sign up for the paid plan. If you’re skilled in Boolean or X-ray searching, I have no doubt you’ll find this resource invaluable!

Recruitment Salary in UK

Salary Insights for Recruitment in the UK

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my experience after spending around 10 months in healthcare recruitment (temp roles).

I’ve recently been promoted to a senior position, and my compensation details are as follows:

  • Base Salary: £30k
  • Quarterly Bonuses: The bonus structure is tiered:
  • 0% on the first £7,500,
  • 10% on earnings up to £50,000,
  • 13.5% on earnings up to £75,000,
  • 15% on anything above £75,000 for the quarter (these rates apply incrementally to the specific billing).

For this quarter, I’m projected to receive around £5,700 based on £60k in billings.

How does this compare in terms of what’s typical for recruitment roles? Is this considered good, average, or below average? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

• Pharma/Healthcare
• Construction/Engineering

Thank you in advance for your help!

Linkedin chrome extension update

LinkedIn Chrome Extension Update

Hello everyone! I’m excited to share that I’ve integrated several feature requests into the extension, and it’s now fully operational and available for you to use at no cost.

Next on my agenda is the development of a job match feature. This will analyze your job ad and the LinkedIn profile you’re viewing, providing insights on their compatibility. It will also generate a personalized message tailored to both your ad and the communication style of the profile. I can’t wait to bring this feature to life!

IT Recruitment vs. Tech/SaaS Sales?

IT Recruitment vs. Tech/SaaS Sales: Seeking Insights

I’ve been feeling increasingly disenchanted with my career in IT Recruitment and would like to gather some insights on how it stacks up against a role in SaaS Sales.

What I enjoy most about IT Recruitment is the sales, negotiation, and social intelligence components. I have a solid grasp of the tech landscape from my recruitment experiences.

Has anyone worked in both fields? I’d love to hear your thoughts on how the two roles compare overall. I recognize that the skillsets are quite transferable, and I’m considering making a switch sooner rather than later.

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

From a recruiter’s point of view – What is happening?

A Recruiter’s Perspective: What’s Going On?

I’m seeking insights from recruiters regarding the job application process in the UK.

Earlier this month, I applied for a position on LinkedIn that aligns with my qualifications. After reaching out to the hiring manager, we had a productive conversation, and he assured me that I would be a strong candidate for the interview pool.

However, it’s been about 3-4 weeks since my application, and I noticed the job has been reposted. Does this mean I still have a chance? Could it imply I was a contender but ultimately not selected? Do recruiters typically aim to have a certain number of candidates in the interview pool before they begin? Additionally, when is an appropriate time to send a follow-up without being overly persistent?
