What does reuploaded job ad on Jobstreet means?

What does it mean when a job ad is reuploaded on Jobstreet?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some insights from recruiters.

I recently checked a job posting on Jobstreet and noticed that it was reuploaded just hours after my interview. Does this mean I wasn’t shortlisted for the position, or is the reuploading process automatic on Jobstreet?

I’m starting to overthink this, as I really want to join the organization. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a software that could help be parse through resumes received through email?

I’m looking for software that can assist with managing and streamlining the resume process for our school’s hiring needs. To give you some background, I’ve recently joined an established school in India that receives between 50 to 80 applications daily. These resumes are sent to a single email account, printed, reviewed for key highlights and suitability, photocopied with comments, and then submitted to upper management for interview scheduling and further action.

I’m hoping to find a solution that can:

A) Allow for bulk uploading of all resumes to create a centralized candidate database.

B) Include intelligent search features to filter resumes by specific keywords such as “degree,” “location,” or “years of experience.”

C) Help manage the application process by tracking the status, follow-ups, and notes on each candidate.

Any suggestions?

As a recruiter, would you hire a working mom who’s eager to return to workforce?

As a recruiter, would you consider hiring a working mom eager to rejoin the workforce?

I need to get this off my chest.

I’ve applied to over 50 companies and interviewed with more than 30, but so far, I’ve received zero job offers. It’s been three months of submitting applications.

Initially, I brushed off the rejections, thinking perhaps the interviews didn’t go well or that they found a better fit. However, I’ve started to suspect that discrimination may be at play. Once they learn that my career gap was due to my pregnancy and that I now have a baby boy, I often get asked who will take care of him, which raises red flags. It’s frustrating because I wouldn’t even be applying if I didn’t have childcare lined up or if I wasn’t ready to return to work. My standard response is that we have childcare covered.

I’m feeling really disheartened and demotivated after so many rejections.

P.S. I work in a highly competitive field where there is typically one position open for hundreds of applicants.

A nice change!

A refreshing change!

I usually have some concerns about recruitment practices, but I truly appreciate this level of efficiency and the respect for my time!

Anybody Recommend Invoice Factoring?

Looking for Recommendations on Invoice Factoring

Hello everyone,

I’ve been operating a temp recruitment agency for just over eight months and overall, things have been running smoothly. However, I haven’t paid myself yet, despite the business performing well, as I’m focused on maintaining a healthy cash flow.

Lately, the business has been growing, and I’m noticing that expenses are rising faster than incoming cash. I’m considering the option of working with an invoice factoring company, but I’m unsure if it’s the right choice.

I’ve established a positive connection with one company and have received an appealing offer, but I’m conflicted about whether to go this route. Utilizing factoring could certainly accelerate growth and enable me to hire more staff.

I’d greatly appreciate any advice or insights you may have on this topic. Thank you!

Where are the recruiters?

Where can I find recruiters?

Hello! I have a solid experience in my career and I’m looking to transition from an agency role to an in-house position. Does anyone know how I can discover which recruitment agencies specific companies or brands partner with when they’re not utilizing in-house recruiters? Any insights would be appreciated! Thank you!

How are transferable skills looked at by recruiters in order to be put forward as a candidate to an employer

How do recruiters evaluate transferable skills when recommending candidates from different industries to employers?

I’m particularly interested in how this applies to blue-collar workers. Have any recruiters successfully placed individuals in positions that are significantly different from their original careers?

For example, has someone transitioned from plumbing to a role as a lift technician? I’d love to hear your experiences!

Bank Applicant with Bad Credit

Job Applicant with Poor Credit History

Having spent nearly a decade in banking and working with three different institutions—two local and one foreign—I have reapplied to my former employer, one of the leading banks in the Philippines. I’ve successfully completed the pre-recruitment process and am now waiting for the offer package and final assessment. However, I’m concerned about how my previous bad credit history, which has been settled, might impact my chances. The only remaining issue is currently under a payment plan and is up to date. Will my past credit troubles affect my job offer?

EMEA Job Market Insights

Hello everyone!

As an International Recruiter working on establishing my personal brand outside the UK, I’m eager to hear from fellow recruiters in the EMEA region about the current job market. I’ve come across numerous articles indicating a notable decline in job openings from clients, but I would love to get firsthand insights from those in the field.

What are your experiences and observations? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
