Seeking Insights on AI in Recruitment – Your Thoughts Please!

Hello everyone!

I’m a college student currently researching my thesis on the role of AI in recruitment and its effects on the hiring process, both advantageous and challenging. To enhance my study, I’m seeking insights from HR professionals, recruiters, and candidates regarding this topic. Your contributions would be immensely helpful!

For Employers:
– Do you incorporate AI into your hiring process? If so, at which stages (e.g., job listing, sourcing, screening, testing, interviews) do you find it most beneficial?
– What benefits and drawbacks have you observed?
– Do you consider the use of AI to be ethical?
– Do you think AI could replace human recruiters in the future?

For Candidates:
– Have you ever gone through an AI-driven recruitment process? If yes, what was your experience like, and which tools were employed?
– Do you find this approach fair? Are you comfortable with AI making the final hiring decision?

Your perspectives are crucial in helping me evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of AI in recruitment. Please feel free to share your thoughts or experiences—I’m eager to hear varied viewpoints. Thank you in advance for your time and insights!

Changing commission

Changing Commission

Has anyone experienced a significant change in their commission structure after many years at a company?

I’ve been with my employer for over ten years, and recently, they implemented a new commission structure that impacts only me.

Anyone have experience with Ramp Global

Has anyone here worked with Ramp Global? I really appreciate this community and its insights. I’m with a US-based firm that has done some preliminary work with Ramp. They’re interested in having us take on some international positions, but there’s a $3,800 entry fee. I’m feeling hesitant about this, as I don’t have much control over the process. I’d love to hear if anyone else has partnered with them, and what your experience and return on investment has been. Thanks, everyone!

Edit: Just to clarify, the $3,800 is an entry fee to do business with Ramp, not the fee we would receive. I’m curious if Ramp offers enough legitimate job opportunities to justify this cost.

Sourcing platforms subscriptions

Subscriptions for Sourcing Platforms

Good evening, recruiters!

I’d like to get your insights on a matter.

If your organization offers access to just one sourcing platform, such as Indeed, would you be willing to invest in subscriptions to additional platforms to enhance your ability to fill more positions? Or would you prefer to rely solely on the options provided by your company?

Use of AI in resume and cover letters

Utilizing AI for Resumes and Cover Letters

Hello, Reddit Recruiters! I’m curious about your opinions on using AI to draft resumes and cover letters before applying for jobs. How likely do you think this approach is to yield success? While my qualifications and experience are genuine, I don’t have professional expertise in crafting these documents, which can be quite time-consuming to customize for every application. If I were to streamline the process with AI-generated content and then submit those documents, would your systems easily identify them as such? Your insights would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone here applied and interviewed at Manulife?

Has anyone in this group recently applied and interviewed at Manulife? I’m considering reapplying since it’s been six months since my last attempt, and I’m hoping for a better outcome this time around. My previous experience with their recruitment process was a bit unusual, but I’ve heard great things about their benefits. Fingers crossed that the hiring process has improved!

Salary Market Research for Tech Recruiting

Conducting Salary Market Research for Tech Recruitment

As a new Tech Recruiter, I’ve been tasked with conducting extensive market research without directly reaching out to candidates, primarily due to constraints in speed and resources, as LinkedIn licenses have become quite costly.

To gather insights on suitable salary ranges for various positions, I’ve been utilizing platforms like Glassdoor and Jobicy. However, I’ve found that much of the data is either poorly validated or not very reliable, making it challenging to work with.

Given this situation, I’m looking for effective methods to conduct thorough Salary Market Research.

What tools, software, or resources are available that could help enhance our research efforts?

Thank you!

Invoice Financing

Invoice Financing

Hi everyone! I’m curious about which companies you use for invoice financing. Some of my peers rely on banks, but our business bank doesn’t offer this service since we’re just getting started. I’d appreciate any recommendations you have! (UK-based options) Thanks!

LinkedIn Talent Solutions advice

Advice from LinkedIn Talent Solutions

I’ve been in discussions with LinkedIn regarding the potential switch to their Job Slots and Recruiter features, rather than continuing to pay for individual job postings.

I have two options: one is to get 3 job slots along with the Recruiter feature for approximately £3200, and the other is to go for 5 job slots without the Recruiter feature for £1900 over a 6-month period.

Since most of our hiring involves junior positions, I’m uncertain about the effectiveness of the Recruiter feature for our needs. I’d appreciate any suggestions or insights based on your experiences with these features!
