Dean Da Costa (SSAR) has a new souring sight that is awesome

Exciting news! Dean Da Costa from SSAR has launched a fantastic new sourcing site called The Sourcing Links. Many of you may already know about his long-standing project at https://start.me/p/GE7Ebm/ssar, but this new site takes things to a whole new level.

The Bronze level is free and packed with an array of powerful tools, all in one convenient location. It features X-ray search, boolean search capabilities, CSS, email/phone lookup, email verification, and much more.

You can find a wealth of instructional videos on how to utilize the site on Dean’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@DeanDaCostathesearchauthority. I recently joined a Google Meet where Dean showcased the site, and I was thoroughly impressed. Although I typically use LI Sales Navigator and SalesQL and don’t delve deeply into X-ray or Boolean searching, I found this tool so compelling that I’m signing up for the paid version. For those of you who are well-versed in Boolean or X-ray searches, I’m confident you’ll absolutely love what this site offers!

Recruitment Salary in UK

Recruitment Salary in the UK

Hey everyone,

I’ve been in healthcare recruitment for about 10 months now, working primarily in temporary placements.

I’m excited to share that I was recently promoted to a senior position. Here’s a breakdown of my compensation:

  • Base Salary: £30,000
  • Quarterly Bonuses: The commission structure is as follows:
  • 0% on the first £7,500
  • 10% on billings up to £50,000
  • 13.5% on billings up to £75,000
  • 15% on billings over £75,000
(These percentages are incremental based on the specific billing thresholds.)

For this quarter, I’ve earned a bonus of approximately £5,700 from £60,000 in billings.

I’d love to hear your thoughts: Is this compensation considered good for a recruitment role, or is it more on the average or below-average side?

Thanks!

Linkedin chrome extension update

LinkedIn Chrome Extension Update

Hello everyone! I’m excited to share that I’ve implemented several of your requested features, and the extension is now fully operational and available for free!

Next up, I’m working on a job match feature that analyzes the compatibility between your job advertisement and the LinkedIn profiles you view. It will provide insights on the match and generate a customized message tailored to both your ad and the communication style of the profile. I can’t wait to roll this out!

IT Recruitment vs. Tech/SaaS Sales?

IT Recruitment vs. Tech/SaaS Sales: Seeking Insights

I’m becoming increasingly weary of my role in IT Recruitment, and I’m curious about how it stacks up against a career in SaaS Sales.

I genuinely enjoy the aspects of sales, negotiation, and social intelligence that come with IT Recruitment, and I have a solid understanding of the tech industry from a recruitment standpoint.

Has anyone here experienced both fields? I’d love to hear your thoughts on how these roles compare at a high level. I recognize that many skills are transferable, and if I’m considering a transition, I’d like to do it sooner rather than later.

Any advice or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated!

From a recruiter’s point of view – What is happening?

Seeking Insights from Recruiters: What’s the Current Situation?

As someone navigating the job application process in the UK, I’m looking for some insights from recruiters.

Earlier this month, I applied for a position on LinkedIn that aligns well with my qualifications. I also reached out to the hiring manager, and after a productive exchange, he indicated that I would be a strong candidate and promised to include me in the interview pool.

However, now that it’s been about 3-4 weeks with no updates on the interview front—and the job has been reposted—I’m wondering about my chances. Does this mean I was considered a good candidate but just not quite what they were looking for? Do recruiters typically aim to have a set number of candidates in the interview pool before they start the process?

Additionally, when would be an appropriate time to send a follow-up message without being bothersome? I appreciate any insights you can provide!

Contract recruiters, reach out!

Attention contract recruiters!

I’m currently working on establishing the US market for my company. Our permanent recruitment side is thriving, with new business wins and a consistent hiring pipeline.

However, I have limited experience in building a contract market. I would greatly appreciate any advice, tips, or recommended reading materials on this topic.

I’m more than willing to exchange insights to ensure it’s beneficial for both of us. Thank you in advance!
