A nice change!

A refreshing shift!

I usually have my complaints about recruiters, but I truly appreciate this level of efficiency and how they respect my time.

Anybody Recommend Invoice Factoring?

Seeking Recommendations for Invoice Factoring

Hello everyone,

I’ve been running a temp recruitment agency for just over eight months, and overall, it’s been a positive experience. However, despite the business doing well, I haven’t taken a salary yet because I’ve been focused on maintaining a healthy cash flow.

As the business continues to expand, I’m starting to notice that expenses are increasing at a faster rate than incoming revenue. I’m considering whether to explore invoice factoring as a solution.

I’ve established a good relationship with a factoring company and am pleased with their offer, but I’m uncertain if this is the right step for my business. Although it could allow for quicker growth and the ability to hire more staff, I want to make sure I’m making an informed decision.

Any advice or insights you could share would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Leaving Recruitment

Transitioning from Recruitment

After spending a couple of years in agency recruitment with the same company in the UK, I started in a graduate role, which seems to be the norm for many.

While I’ve experienced my share of highs and lows, I’ve grown increasingly dissatisfied with my job in recent months and am not looking to pursue a long-term career in this industry.

For those who have made a similar move or are considering it, what roles or fields would you recommend? I hold a business degree and am interested in areas like HR and Marketing, but I’m unsure about my next steps.

I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts and experiences. Thank you in advance!

Where are the recruiters?

Subject: Seeking Guidance on Finding Recruitment Agencies

Hello everyone! I’m currently at a senior level in my career and I’m interested in transitioning from an agency role to an in-house position. I’m curious to know how I can identify which recruitment agencies specific companies or brands partner with, especially when they aren’t utilizing in-house recruiters. Any insights would be greatly appreciated—thank you!

How are transferable skills looked at by recruiters in order to be put forward as a candidate to an employer

I’m interested in understanding how recruiters assess transferable skills when considering candidates from outside a specific industry. Specifically, I’m curious about how blue-collar workers with diverse experiences are viewed when being recommended to employers seeking new talent from different fields.

Has anyone here ever successfully transitioned someone into a role that is vastly different from their original career path? For instance, a plumber becoming a lift technician—have you seen examples like this?

Bank Applicant with Bad Credit

Job Applicant Concerned About Credit History

After nearly a decade in banking and experience at three different institutions—two local and one foreign—I have reapplied to my former employer, one of the leading banks in the Philippines. I’ve successfully completed the pre-recruitment process and am now waiting for the final assessment and job offer package. However, I’m concerned about how my bad credit history, which has been settled except for one account that is currently under a payment arrangement and kept up to date, might affect their decision. Will my credit issues impact my chances of receiving a job offer?

EMEA Job Market

EMEA Job Market Update

As an International Recruiter venturing beyond the UK to establish my own brand, I’m curious about the current state of the job market in the EMEA region. I’ve come across numerous articles indicating a notable decline in available job opportunities from clients, but I’m eager to hear from fellow Recruiters directly. What’s your take on the situation? Any insights you could share would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

KPI Recrutement

Subject: Recruitment KPI Query

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well! I have a quick question about the KPIs for a recruitment specialist in a small IT consulting firm. Is it typical to aim for a minimum of 200 qualified CVs and conduct 40 prequalification interviews each week?

Thanks in advance for your insights!
