Looking for suggestions for a business bank account in the UK! Does anyone have recommendations for a recruitment firm launching in London? I’ve heard positive things about NatWest, Monzo, and Revolut.

Moving Back to London – Seeking Account Management/BDM Opportunities
Hey Reddit! I’m planning to move back to London from Auckland, New Zealand, and I’m on the lookout for an Account Management or Business Development Manager role. I bring extensive experience managing a portfolio of over 45 clients, along with handling $8M in annual sales. I have a proven track record of launching new business services, expanding customer portfolios, and achieving significant growth even in tough markets. I would appreciate any recommendations for recruitment agencies or companies that are hiring in this field. Thank you in advance for your help!
Exploring the Effects of the Non-Compete Ban
Hi everyone,
I’ve been pondering an interesting question lately and I’d love to hear your thoughts: Are we about to see a surge in new agency startups in Q4 as a result of the non-compete ban?
From my observations, many driven individuals have historically responded to non-competes by saying, “Forget your non-compete, I’m doing this anyway,” and launched their own ventures. That’s just my personal take, though—there might be many agency recruiters poised to go solo who have been held back by these restrictions, and they could soon have the freedom to do so.
Seeking Recommendations for CRM/ATS Systems
I run a staffing company specializing in the light industrial and clerical sectors, and I currently have a team of four recruiters. We’re in the market for a new CRM/ATS system. I received a quote from Bullhorn, which came to about $250 per user per month, plus substantial one-time implementation fees.
I’m curious if anyone has insights on pricing for other platforms, as we are currently using Akken. I’ve heard positive feedback about Avionté and TempWorks—does anyone know how their pricing compares? Thanks in advance for your help!
Looking for Access to Sourcing Platforms on a Temporary Basis
Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well!
I’m currently on the lookout for temporary access to sourcing platforms like CareerBuilder, DICE, or Resume Library. As a freelancer, I’m unable to invest in an annual subscription at the moment.
If anyone has suggestions or ways to access these platforms for US recruitment on a rental basis, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.
Thank you!
Hiring Processes: A Question
I recently had a positive experience with a hiring process. I completed one interview and was even referred to another position, where I participated in two more interviews— the final one being with the director. It went well, and I was informed by the recruiting team that I was a top candidate and would hear back soon.
However, I noticed that the same position I applied for has been reposted as new just last week. Now, I find myself with three applications for the same job title. Is this common? Does anyone know why a job I applied for would be listed again as a new opening? How should I interpret this from a recruiter’s perspective? Is this typical practice?
With seven years of experience in both internal recruitment and staffing agencies, I’ve seen my fair share of changes in the industry. The past year has posed significant challenges for staffing agencies, and I can’t help but wonder how the rise of AI will reshape our field.
I’m curious to hear your thoughts: will staffing agencies still be relevant in ten years? The AI tools being integrated into in-house recruitment processes are streamlining workflows and making it easier for recruiters to manage multiple open positions. What implications does this have for the future of agency recruitment?
Is AI Sifting Out Highly Qualified Candidates?
Hello, everyone. I’m currently facing the challenging task of searching for a new job, and it’s proving to be quite difficult. With over 15 years of experience in the tech field, I used to have recruiters actively seeking me out. However, lately, I’ve noticed a significant decline in interest from them. The job applications I’ve submitted seem to be getting automatically rejected, and the responses I receive often feel impersonal and automated.
Has there been a shift in the tech industry that’s causing more skilled candidates to be filtered out? If so, what can I do to ensure my application reaches an actual person? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
How do you gather business data?
I’m with a recruitment firm based in San Jose, specializing in providing offshore remote IT staff to companies throughout California. We focus on specific skill sets such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, cybersecurity, and Workday. I’m looking to identify companies that are currently hiring for these roles so I can reach out and assist them with their staffing needs. Are there any tools or strategies available for collecting this information?
I would appreciate any insights you can share. Thank you!
Nirvana Mechanical – what’s the story? Something feels off.
I’ve seen several job postings from Nirvana Mechanical on LinkedIn, but their profile raises some red flags. They only have three employees listed, and the one actively posting doesn’t even have a profile photo. A quick search reveals a bare-bones Squarespace site that appears to belong to a plumbing service. The only other info I could find is on get.it, but it’s still very limited. It’s hard to shake the feeling that something isn’t right.
What do these untrustworthy “recruitment” agencies aim to achieve by posting fake job listings? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
