Getting InMail Credits Back

Maximizing Your InMail Credits

If you find yourself running low on InMail credits each month, here’s a helpful tip: include a phrase like “Feel free to decline if this isn’t of interest” in your messages.

Since I started doing this, I’ve noticed an increase in my response rate. This way, I don’t risk falling below the 13% threshold for bulk messaging. Candidates are more likely to decline the message rather than ignore it, which allows us to get those costly InMail credits back for future use.

Hope this helps! 🙂

DipRM is it worth it?

Is the DipRM Worth It?

Hello everyone,

I would really appreciate any insights or advice you might have. I’m based in the UK and have received an opportunity to enroll in the DipRM course.

Has anyone here completed it? Did you find it beneficial? Also, how long did the course take to finish?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Weird job offer situation

Strange job offer situation
Hey everyone, I hope this is the right place to share this. So, I interviewed for a job I didn’t actually apply for—I accidentally walked into the wrong office! Somehow, I ended up receiving a verbal offer. My start date is supposed to be tomorrow, but I haven’t yet received an offer letter or anything related to the I-9 form (edit: I was told I would get it the ‘night of’ the offer). Should I be worried? I understand it’s the weekend, and it might just be sitting on someone’s desk, but I’m feeling a bit anxious about job security, especially this time of year. I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Key Account Owners – What are your rules?

Key Account Owners: What Guidelines Do You Follow?

I’m part of a small firm that serves around 100 clients each year, with about 30 of them being regulars that rely on us for their staffing needs.

We’re currently working on clarifying what qualifies a client as a Key Account. Recently, a subsidiary of a previous client reached out for staffing assistance, but they have begun collaborating with a different recruiter amid some office conflicts. Our last engagement with this client was a single placement three years ago, which management feels does not warrant “Key Account” status.

Do you have any internal guidelines for managing this? We’re looking to establish a policy to prevent any potential disputes in the future. Your insights would be greatly appreciated!

Controversial topic – but what are the best paying Recruitment Agencies

Subject: Seeking Insights on High-Paying Recruitment Agencies

I’m exploring a career in recruitment and would love some guidance, particularly regarding the best-paying agencies. I’ve heard mixed reviews about consultants not receiving a fair share of commissions and benefits, which has made me cautious.

What factors should I consider when evaluating which agency to join? I’m based in Melbourne, Australia, and genuinely believe I have a lot to contribute to this field. I was previously offered a position with Roberts & Walters but chose to decline. I’ve also met with Hays.

Many of my university friends who graduated with me in marketing have transitioned into recruitment and are now leading HR roles in reputable companies, which makes me think this could be a solid career path. Additionally, I appreciate the potential for independent work after gaining some experience and the flexibility to work remotely.

I’d greatly appreciate any tips or recommendations!

New ceo of tp ph

Announcement About TP PH’s New CEO

Hello everyone!

I wanted to share some news regarding our situation. Our HRD informed us last Friday, December 16, 2023 (PH time), that this will be our last working day for the year. They also mentioned that our company is evaluating whether we will be absorbed again as TAs next year, due to changes in ownership at our business partner, TP PH. It appears that TP now has a new CEO who hasn’t included the business partners in their plans for the new property.

I’m currently looking into whether this information is accurate or if it’s just a tactic from our company to encourage us to resign or terminate our contracts. If anyone has insights or information about the situation, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!

Software for automated reachout

Automated Outreach Software for Recruiters

As a recruiter, a significant part of my work involves identifying suitable talent and reaching out to them on LinkedIn. Unfortunately, the response rate to these messages is often quite low. I’m considering automating the initial phase of this process: taking a job description, finding matching candidates on LinkedIn, and sending them an automated message.

I only wish to engage further once a candidate responds. Is there any software available that can assist with this?
