Subject: Seeking Assistance to Fill Positions

Hi Everyone,

I’m currently looking to fill several open positions in backend engineering and product management. I’m reaching out to agencies and freelance recruiters interested in collaborating on a commission-sharing basis. If you’re interested, please get in touch!

Dean DaCosta’s Start.Me page. A plethora of info for all recruiters (updates sans link)

Dean DaCosta’s Start.Me page is a goldmine of resources for recruiters. If you’re not already acquainted with Dean, he’s a sourcing and Boolean search expert, and he maintains a fantastic resource website called The Sourcing Links (I won’t provide a link, as it goes against the rules).

To find Dean’s Start.Me page, simply search for “dean da costa ssar,” and it should appear on the first page of your search results.

Dean has curated an extensive collection of tools, software, Facebook groups, and more that recruiters can utilize. He also keeps it up-to-date, posting the dates when he adds or modifies links.

If you haven’t checked out Start.me yet, it’s a fantastic tool. It’s free, and I use it as my homepage to organize all my bookmarks and frequently used sites. Many users, including Dean, share their pages, allowing you to easily copy sections or entire pages for your own reference. I’ve saved a few of Dean’s pages, along with an impressive Start.me created by someone focusing entirely on AI, ChatGPT, and NLM resources, which includes a wealth of links to guides, prompt engineering tips, the OpenAI API, AI tool aggregators, and more.

I’m not quite sure how to search for other Start.Me pages, but I’m sure there are many additional pages out there that would be beneficial for recruiters and professionals in business development and sales.

Where do I find Accountants?

Where can I locate accountants?
I’m looking to hire accountants in Berlin, but it appears that LinkedIn isn’t the most popular platform for them. I’ve noticed that responses are often delayed or nonexistent. Are there alternative channels or communities where accountants tend to be more engaged? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Leaving recruitment

Transitioning from Recruitment
I’m considering a shift away from recruitment and exploring new opportunities. After nearly ten years in the field, I feel it’s time for a change.

I’m particularly interested in roles within sales, account management, and business development, with a focus on tech, SaaS, or fintech companies.

Has anyone gone through a similar transition? I’d love to hear about your experiences, any challenges you faced, and any advice you might have!

Recruitment Agency Pain Points

Challenges Faced by Recruitment Agencies

Hello everyone,

I’m looking to gather insights on the top three challenges that private sector companies and clients often encounter when collaborating with recruitment agencies.

I understand that one common issue is receiving CVs from candidates who are clearly unqualified. However, I would love to hear your perspectives on what other significant pain points you’ve experienced.

Thank you!

Business Development – CV Speccing

Business Development – CV Speculative Submissions

Do recruiters still send out CVs to potential clients in order to generate new business? This approach used to be highly effective for me, but over the past year, the results have been lackluster. As a recruiter in the tech sector, the conventional wisdom was to identify strong candidates with the desired skill sets and forward their resumes to hiring managers, with the expectation that at least one would express interest.

So, what has changed?

Subject: Seeking Advice on Indeed Registration

Hello everyone!

I’m new here and just launched my recruitment agency last week—exciting times, as I’ve already landed my first client!

As I was setting up my job ad on Indeed, I encountered a restriction stating that I need to be a registered business to proceed. I’m wondering if registering as self-employed would suffice, or if it would be better to fully commit and register a limited company instead.

Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I’ve noticed some negative reactions to my post 😂—I’m just looking for advice here, so please be kind!
