Searching for jobs in the recruitment industry

Exploring New Opportunities in Recruitment

As an analyst in the staffing sector currently employed at a large MSP, I’ve gained valuable experience but am now seeking new opportunities within other recruitment firms.

One challenge I face is that my job searches often yield listings primarily for external positions posted by recruiters on behalf of other companies, rather than roles directly suited for my background.

What strategies would you recommend for effectively navigating the job market in the recruitment industry?

I understand the importance of enhancing my LinkedIn network, so I plan to focus on that as well.

I’m trying to find out if there is a need for my skill set.

I’m looking to gauge the demand for my skill set.

Hi everyone! In the past, I successfully used email marketing to secure sales calls for a friend’s agency, which inspired me to start my own agency. I’m curious if there is a genuine need for lead generation services in today’s market. I’ve noticed that the industry seems saturated with providers claiming to deliver 20 to 50 clients with little to no upfront cost, which seems too good to be true. My approach is different; I focus on generating high-quality leads who are not only interested in your services but also have the financial capability to invest. Moreover, my pricing model is performance-based. I would appreciate any insights or feedback!

anyone experience with Huntly.ai?

Has anyone had any experience with Huntly.ai? I’m looking to earn some extra income while working from home in the Netherlands, and I stumbled upon a website called ‘huntly.ai‘.

In a nutshell, Huntly.ai is described as a recruitment platform that connects tech recruiters with companies through a competition-based system, providing pre-screened candidates and charging fees only when a hire is made.

I’d love to know if anyone is familiar with this site or, even better, if anyone has actually used it.

It seems promising, but I’m unsure about its legitimacy.

Impact of an NDA?

Understanding the Implications of an NDA

I’m seeking some clarity on the consequences of signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). I’m currently on the lookout for a full-time position and am considering an internship opportunity. However, they require me to sign an NDA and a Confidentiality Agreement before any discussions can take place.

I’m uncertain about how this might impact my chances with other companies in the same field. Can I confidently sign the NDA, knowing it won’t hinder my ability to pursue full-time roles with other organizations in this industry? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Independent recruiters and small-sized agencies of the world! What’s the success fee and condition you offer your services with?

Attention independent recruiters and small agencies around the globe! What success fees and conditions do you offer for your services?

I’ve recently partnered with former colleagues to launch my own recruitment agency based in Hungary, mainly working part-time. We’ve been fortunate to receive inquiries from international companies in Austria and Germany. However, we had to rely on “eyeball estimation” to create our business offer, as we’re not well-versed in the pricing of HR services in those markets.

Ultimately, we secured a contract with one of the German companies, where we receive 15% of each worker’s gross salary for up to one year, along with a 60-day guarantee period at the start. The positions we’re filling include electricians, mechanics, and more.

So, did we strike a good deal compared to other HR providers in Germany, or are we simply seen as a more affordable outsourcing option from abroad? 😀

I’m curious to know—what are the recruitment fees like in your countries?

Top Sources for Finding Travel Nurses

Hi everyone! I’ve recently taken on a new role as a Travel Nurse Recruiter and I’m looking for some guidance on where to find Travel RNs. Right now, I’m utilizing LinkedIn and my company’s internal ATS, but I’d love to explore other options. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Job after PhD

Job Search After PhD

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out to seek advice from professional recruiters and talent acquisition experts. I’m currently based in Denmark and completed my PhD in organizational behavior in December 2021. While I continue to work at the university, focusing on research and teaching, I have about six years of prior industry experience in HR roles and recruitment. I’m eager to return to an HR-related position in the industry and am willing to start in an assistant role to learn and grow within an organization.

Over the past year, I’ve applied to numerous positions, but responses have been few and far between. I’ve started to wonder if my lack of recent hands-on experience is a barrier, or if companies are unsure of how to value my PhD and research background.

I would greatly appreciate any tips or strategies to improve my chances of landing interviews. Do recruiters still consider motivational letters important? Would it be worthwhile to apply for positions even when they aren’t advertised?

Thank you in advance for your insights!

Is internal recruitment dead?

Is Internal Recruitment a Lost Cause?

I’m considering a transition from agency recruitment to an internal role, but I’ve heard that the internal recruitment market is struggling. What’s behind this perception? Am I about to make a significant error in judgment?

To provide some background, the organization I’m joining is currently expanding and has created a new position within their recruitment team, which I will be stepping into.
