Moving Back to London for Account Management/BDM Opportunities
Hello Reddit! I’m planning to relocate back to London from Auckland, New Zealand, and I’m on the lookout for an Account Management or Business Development Manager role. I bring a wealth of experience managing a portfolio of over 45 clients and overseeing $8M in annual sales. Throughout my career, I have successfully launched new business services, expanded customer portfolios, and achieved significant growth in competitive markets. I’m seeking recommendations for recruitment agencies or companies that are currently hiring in this field. Any leads or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Title: Potential Surge in Agency Startups Post Non-Compete Ban
Hey everyone,
I had a thought today that I’m curious to get your input on: do you think we’ll see a surge in new agency startups in Q4 now that the non-compete ban is in effect?
From what I’ve observed, many ambitious individuals have been willing to disregard their non-compete agreements and launch their own ventures. That said, this is just my personal experience. It’s possible there are many agency recruiters ready to take the leap to independence if their non-compete clauses were lifted—and now they might just have the opportunity to do so.
Searching for a New CRM/ATS Solution
I run a staffing company that specializes in the light industrial and clerical sectors. With a team of four recruiters, I’m in the market for a new CRM/ATS system. I received a quote from Bullhorn for approximately $250 per user each month, plus significant one-time implementation fees.
Does anyone have insights on what other options might cost? We’re currently using Akken but are also considering Avionté and TempWorks, as I’ve heard positive feedback about both. Any recommendations or experiences would be appreciated!
Looking for Rental Access to Sourcing Platforms!
Hello Everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well!
I wanted to reach out to see if there’s a possibility to access sourcing platforms like CareerBuilder, DICE, or Resume Library on a rental basis. As a freelancer, I currently can’t commit to an annual subscription.
Any guidance on how to obtain access to these platforms for U.S. recruitment would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
I recently went through the interview process for a position and had a great experience. I initially had one interview that went well, and then I was referred to another role where I had two interviews, the final one being with the director. I received positive feedback from recruiting, indicating that I’m a top candidate and should be hearing back soon.
However, I noticed that the same position was posted again last week, and now I have three applications for the same title. Is this a common occurrence? Can anyone explain why a role I applied for has been reposted like new? If I were a recruiter, how would I interpret this situation? Is this considered normal in hiring practices?
Exploring AI’s Impact on Staffing
Having spent 7 years in recruitment, both in-house and at staffing agencies, I’ve witnessed some significant changes in the industry. This past year has been especially challenging for agencies, and I’m curious about the role of AI in shaping the future of recruitment.
As technology advances, particularly with the introduction of AI tools that simplify the workload for in-house recruiters—helping them manage multiple open positions more efficiently—what does this mean for the future of staffing agencies? Will they still have a place in the industry a decade from now? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!
Is AI Overlooking Highly Skilled Candidates?
Hello everyone, I’m currently in the challenging position of job hunting, and I’m facing significant hurdles. With over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, I’ve previously enjoyed a steady stream of recruiter outreach. However, lately, I’ve noticed a stark decline in interest from recruiters, and it seems that my job applications are being automatically rejected—many of the responses I receive appear to be generated by bots. I can’t help but wonder if there has been a shift in technology that filters out qualified candidates. If so, what strategies can I employ to ensure my application reaches a real person?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice on how to gather data about businesses that are hiring. As a recruitment agency based in San Jose, I specialize in providing offshore remote IT staff to companies across California, focusing on skills like Salesforce, ServiceNow, cybersecurity, and Workday.
I’m interested in identifying which companies are currently hiring for these roles so I can reach out to them and assist with their staffing needs. Is there any tool you recommend for acquiring this data, or what approaches have you found effective?
I appreciate any insights you can share! Thank you!
Nirvana Mechanical – what’s the real story here? Something feels off. I’ve seen several job postings from them on LinkedIn, but they only list three employees, with the sole active one lacking a profile picture. A quick Google search reveals a sparse Squarespace site for a plumbing service. The only other information I could find about the company is on get.it, and it doesn’t seem credible. What motivates non-legitimate “recruitment” agencies to advertise jobs that appear to be fake? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
