AI introduction to staffing

The Impact of AI on Recruitment

With seven years of experience in both internal recruitment and staffing agencies, I’ve seen my fair share of changes in the industry. The past year has posed significant challenges for staffing agencies, and I can’t help but wonder how the rise of AI will reshape our field.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts: will staffing agencies still be relevant in ten years? The AI tools being integrated into in-house recruitment processes are streamlining workflows and making it easier for recruiters to manage multiple open positions. What implications does this have for the future of agency recruitment?

Is AI filtering out highly skilled candidates?

Is AI Sifting Out Highly Qualified Candidates?

Hello, everyone. I’m currently facing the challenging task of searching for a new job, and it’s proving to be quite difficult. With over 15 years of experience in the tech field, I used to have recruiters actively seeking me out. However, lately, I’ve noticed a significant decline in interest from them. The job applications I’ve submitted seem to be getting automatically rejected, and the responses I receive often feel impersonal and automated.

Has there been a shift in the tech industry that’s causing more skilled candidates to be filtered out? If so, what can I do to ensure my application reaches an actual person? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

How do you guys get data of businesses?

How do you gather business data?

I’m with a recruitment firm based in San Jose, specializing in providing offshore remote IT staff to companies throughout California. We focus on specific skill sets such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, cybersecurity, and Workday. I’m looking to identify companies that are currently hiring for these roles so I can reach out and assist them with their staffing needs. Are there any tools or strategies available for collecting this information?

I would appreciate any insights you can share. Thank you!

Nirvana mechanical. What is the deal? Nothing about it seems legit.

Nirvana Mechanical – what’s the story? Something feels off.

I’ve seen several job postings from Nirvana Mechanical on LinkedIn, but their profile raises some red flags. They only have three employees listed, and the one actively posting doesn’t even have a profile photo. A quick search reveals a bare-bones Squarespace site that appears to belong to a plumbing service. The only other info I could find is on get.it, but it’s still very limited. It’s hard to shake the feeling that something isn’t right.

What do these untrustworthy “recruitment” agencies aim to achieve by posting fake job listings? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Recruiting as an active

Feeling a bit unprepared for recruiting in a few days. Our head of recruitment hasn’t been the most effective at sharing information or staying organized, and I’m concerned about potentially making mistakes or saying the wrong thing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Applying to your own role

Considering applying for your own position

This might sound like an odd question, but if you were an agency recruiter and found a role that you felt genuinely qualified for and interested in, would it be acceptable for you to submit your own CV for consideration?

Are recruiters getting worse at sales in your team as well?

Are recruiters in your team struggling with sales too?

I’m interested to know! I’ve been in the tech market for a decade now, and while I understand the current market is challenging, I’m wondering if others are finding it harder to sell.

At my workplace, the first four hours are eerily quiet, with everyone focused on crafting their emails. In the afternoon, we might make a few calls, but we’re all working in very niche markets.

I recall a time at a previous company where the environment was completely different—50 cold calls a day and a loud, competitive atmosphere. It was intense but productive.

I’ve spoken to a few folks, and it seems that many companies have shifted to a more hushed, library-like approach to recruitment because some staff become uncomfortable with pressure.

Is that true in your organization? If not, what’s your experience like?

I’d love to hear your thoughts!
